The 5th winner of the 1000 Guineas, held on Thursday 30th April 1818 over the Ditch Mile course, was Corinne (7/1), a brown filly by Waxy out of Briseis, owned by Mr John Udny. A field of 8 runners contested the race which was worth 1,400 Guineas (Equivalent to £116,200 in 2017)
